A few months ago, I grabbed my homemade latte, fired up my iMac, and got ready to write a couple of blog posts. When I went to my site I saw that it had been hacked. I contacted my host company and David, on the other end, told me what files I needed to delete and reconstruct to get the site back up. I deleted those files and called the host back, but another rep told me that I had only scratched the surface. After figuring out the number of hours it’d take to reconstruct the site, I decided to let it lay for a while. I later called the host company back and asked it to delete everything. It was the easiest thing to do. So, here it is 2012 and I’m starting from square one. It’s going to be interesting to see where I go from here.
